Location: Indiana | I was looking over my 1996 Collector's series today and was a little bummed when I saw this. I have a friend who is a much better player than I am that I've let take it for a day or two to see how it may be affecting play (hard for me to tell at my level of ability). It seems like a 5 piece neck with a kaman H bar in it would not be able to do this but there is an obvious twist in it. The binding in the background is a good reference point for the view from the headstock. This guitar has always been in its case in a humidified room. I am the original owner and I'm not sure yet if this would fall under the warranty or not. It would seem that neck replacement (if need be) would be easier than trying to straighten it. This is a bound fretboard with a lot of inlay though.
anyone seen this on an ovation before?
thanks,
mark
