I'm doing a few jazzified Carols on my MM68 Mando for Christmas Eve Services with my bass player. If you've got some buddies into jazz, you might have a little fun with these PDF lead sheets:
Silent Nights
Away in a Manger
Joy to the World
Enjoy!

Just got finished printing off the Joy to the World chart, as my band is doing it this Sunday. I may throw in a flourish....

Also, for those who may not know who Ted is, he happens to be one of the owners of Nebraska's main Ovation dealerships: Dietze Music in Lincoln and Omaha. I have bought some guitars from Ted, himself, as well as numerous instruments from Dietze Music. And his techs have seen more of my guitars than I can count..... It is a good thing they let me have a charge account!

Thanks, Ted!

Paul, thanks for the kind words...
Also, I guess I should mention that the lead sheets were derived from a Christmas album I produced about 12 years ago. The sounds are a little dated, but if turbo-charged "elevator music" is your bag, you might enjoy the arrangements. If nothing else, fun desktop music.
I've made them available for free MP3 downloads at the following website:

Hot Dang

A successful mandolin player, next thing we know a banjo player will surface that makes his living picking cotten (rather than food stamps).

Life is great!!
