For the serious collector, what year/model is at the top of your list to own/buy? Why? |

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I don't know if any "research" has been done but I would think for a collector one of the original Slot Heads would be a great score not only because they are rare, but they are also great sounding and looking guitars.
For solidbodies, I would thing the Bluebirds, both the 6 and 12-String versions. Again rare, and sound great.
Both of these guitars are truly "unique" guitars in that they are like noting else made by ovation except maybe in overall shape. Materials and construction of these guitars were unique to these guitars and only a few (37 ish of the slotheads, 12ish of the Bluebirds).
Thats my thoughts... |

Location: Huntington Beach, CA | What models are you referring to (name/number)? And, what year or range of years do you recommend? Thanks. |
