Interesting article by Brozman (who I discovered in learning okanowian music) about rhythm. I totally agree with him, that the rhythm guitarist is the most valuable part of the band. It's been my experience that a solid rhythm guy can make you sound great. He also makes some interesting comments about the harmony of western music, and the rhthym of places like Africa. My comment, IMHO, is:I believe that's why blues based musics are so powerful, because they have roots in both sources. Anyway, an interesting read. Now if he only played an ovation ....

Bob doesn't play Ovations but he is considered by many as the source of info on Nationals. After all, he wrote the book on them, literally. (I'm sure this is mentioned on his web site, a very complete history of the company from 1927 to 1942. If you're into Nationals, this is the bible)
