| Hi,
I bought a 1974 (I believe) Ovation Preacher electric guitar about 2 months ago. I got it because I wanted to use the stereo output for creating another layer of sound. The guitar has to ports (one for mono and the other stereo output.) But the stereo output doesn't seem to be working properly.
I just had it repaired and I'm still not sure if it's fixed correctly. Right now if I plug a stereo cable into the stereo port only the rear pick up works. And if I connect a mono plug in at the same time it turns off both plugs.
I was hoping that either I could plug in both the stereo and mono ports and get a signal to both with one being the front pick up and the other the rear or just have the stereo output split the pick ups. But neither seems to really be working.
Does anyone know how these connections should be functioning?
thanks for the help? |

Look under BruDev and drop down the menu of albums. |
