| For the people who have bought new Ovations. Once you have tried them for awhile and feel you've explored it to a certain degree, how about placing some reviews in harmonycentral, or musiciansfriend, or music123, or anywhere you see the opportunity to spread your opinion. I noticed harmonycentral has no lx reviews yet and no 2003 collector reviews. People may not rely on these type of reviews, but I know a lot of people who read them. Just a thought. |

I just hit MF, M123, Music Gear Review and Harmony Central.
Your right. When I go shopping/surfing I digested as much info as I could get my hands on.
And just in case you didn't hear... the Elite LX is awesome! |

Location: Upper Left USA | You know, the problem with you British guy's is that you speak real english. I had to go look up what a bullock was. There are some definite extremes in the "open market" opinion venues.
What would be the best route to share our opinions with the musician audience? |

Location: Scotland | That's "bollocks" not "bullocks" Bollocks is brit-speak for either a) the testicles (or knackers) e.g. "I kicked him square in the bollocks b)something which is a bit crap e.g. "what a load of old bollocks" or c) an inaccurate statement e.g. "He's talking complete bollocks". Also, confusingly the word is used to describe something rather spiffing & splendid e.g "My new LX is the (dog's) bollocks!" |

Location: Upper Left USA | It's bad enough that I grew up 15 miles from Boston and thought the letter "R" was really a vowel. I'll have to save that "dog's balls" comparison for something special, like a truss rod in a "Mah'tin" or a pick guard on a Tacoma.
The memory I pulled from was John Cleese at some award show during the "Clinton Era". He said that the British were superior because:
they spoke real english
they only went down on one knee for their leader!
BTW: what is the best way to share the love of Ovation with the rest of the world? |
