Hi everyone,

I love to play my 1981 1614-4 Folklore in my Band. Since we are only drums / bass / guitar (me!) and a female vocalist I have to change it often and fast with my Stratocaster.
If it is in the middle of a song I have to do it *very* fast. Besides this it seems to look quite funny... ;-)

Is a Guitar Performer Stands the clue? I saw this kind of stand on TV. Malmsteen used it. What kind of stand fits a deep bowl Ovation?

Is anyone here having experiences with it?

Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany
Dirk

Hello Dirk,

Welcome - The type of stand you're looking for is called a "Gracie" stand and they are available for deep bowl roundbacks.....Here's one link I found by just typing in "Gracie stands" on Google, I'm sure there are other sites that may have them cheaper?

Btw - I've got an '81 1614 Folklore also!! Fantastic guitars......
