I know this has probably been addressed before, but are all/most of the newer "O"s made with the female half of the StrapLok system as standard equipment?

I just bought 4 sets (they don't sell only the male parts)for my "O" Family and wowiezowie what a difference! The "fear of dropping the guitar factor" has disolved!

I know I'm preaching to the Choir, but perhaps this should be a reminder! The investment in your instrument is certainly worth the small outlay for "strap security"! Please don't drop your babies!

Tim,

Where did you order yours and what Model/Type? I've got to beef up the 1615.

I have to say, there are two types that are available. There are the standard which are quite thin if you are using a regular strap, and the dual duty which is what comes on the USA Ovation. These are made for either, but absolutely rock with the lock! I just put a set on my old 1115-4, and my MM68. I agree, don't drop your baby's. I recently watched the strap fall off the front of my Gibson J200 at band practice. Needless to say that was the closest to touching the cloth I've been in a long time. I managed to catch it by the way. Keep playing!! Use protection! (the straplocks I mean)

Glenn :) :)
