Hi,
i know you guys have put (and still are) a lot of time and work into this section, but i notice there is a lack of info on the specials and LTD editions, for example (yes i`m biased) No mention of 2000 LTD Elite russian, (100 made) 2000 Adamas Millenium (200 made) etc I`m sure there would great interest to have such info on the specials and LTD`s, maybe even with pictures, quantities produced etc, a mammoth task especially if all models were covered. But it would be one hell of a reference section

Essentially, the top is finished before the bridge is attached. The bridge area is routed - its a big very precise router. The depth of the route is very shallow, only the thickness of the finish and very little more. I say very little because... I'm not sure if they compensate the top with curvature and route a flat spot for the bridge, or... if they route them both flat and let the bridge bend a little. In practice, the top must be arched very slightly for strength. So its a matter of flat bridge on flat route on a curved top, or curved bridge on a curved route on a curved top. Dunno which they use.

Here is how they cut the top to insert the bridge. The picture shows cutting to insert the neck. I think Paul Wag or trboy got pics of the actual bridge cut.

Good suggestion, but it looks like the ghost of the board is twiddling with the posts and you have responses that are not relevent. Two other posts were looking for these strays, reminds me of a roundup in the Gila wilderness where the cattle can be anywhere except where they're supposed to be.
