I bought a 1667 Legend a few months ago purely because I liked the sound & feel.

I've been unable to find out how rare these are or what I should have paid for it in the UK. (I've got a feeling I prrobably paid a little too much, but I do love it so it's not really a major issue)

Anyone have any more information. I know it was made in 1983, but that's about it.

Cheers.

Legends are very common, even over here. Depending on condition an early '80's Legend can go for anywhere between £300-£600, though dealers generally price them a lot higher.

The bottom line is do you like the guitar, and is it worth it to you?

The 1667 was a mid depth guitar with a cutaway and A bracing. It was only made for about a year or so in the early 80's. I've seen them go on ebay for up to $5-600. It's a damned fine guitar.
