Location: Sunshine State, Australia | I saw a duo last year that used a stomp box. It was the first time I'd seen (heard) one. He just made his own box and cut some foam to fit one of his extra mics in it. Worked great. |

Location: Melbourne Australia | I've seen them around a bit with solo players. They can be a soft or as intrusive as you like.
There is a man in Oz who made the Breadwinner lookalike lapsteel AJ has that makes pretty good ones too. |

Bottom line....if you can't tap your foot and keep a rhythm you are in deep cotton anyway. |
