What's the price range for a 1112-4 late 70's Custom Balladeer with HS case in good condition?

Maybe others can give you ananswer better than Mine , But I'm Guessing That if it's in Good Condition(No Dings-No Cracks) It could bring you
$450. Otherwise I have seen them on Ebay going between The $300 to $450 price Range. If it's with no reserve- They've gone for just under $300. Once again depends on The Condition-and the subjective question of what you are willing to sell it for versus what the potential Buyer Is willing to Pay.
Now I could be off the mark ,so if some one else has an opinion to this post, Please step in and Help our OFC Brother.

I just sold a 1973 Balladeer 1111-1 with an Ovation case on eBay for $277. It had some finish cracks. A 1112-4 with no cracks would probably fetch about $350. One of the questions that I got from a bidder was whether the guitar had the old-style foil label, which it did. I think the late 70's models have the blue paper labels. I don't know if it really makes a difference in the value of the guitar, but the bidder who asked about the foil label helped to drive up the final auction price.

I also saw that 1768 Elite go for $405. Prices of Ovations on eBay are quirky. A few weeks ago an 1117 Legend went for $399. Go figure. If you decide to list with eBay take 6 good digital photos and use the supersize gallery format. Also, put as many details in the ad as you possibly can such as the condition of the frets, fingerboard, neck, exact year of manufacture, etc. I have found that the more details the more bidders you attract.

Steve you got a good deal on your Elite. I don't agree that the Elite is twice the quality of a Custom Balladeer. These are both American made Ovations, so their quality should be equal. The Custom Balladeer is a wonderful guitar, made from the same high quality materials as the Elite. As to the value of the two? Not sure how they compare there. I have seen both of these guitars go for great prices.
