Location: Canada | Hey I was wondering... I have A Thunder head, will a P90 Style pick up fit in the hole that the origional pick ups are in? I'm not worried if they'll fit in the original pickup ring, just the cavity in the body it self.
Thanks

Location: Scotland | There are 2 types of P90 mounting. The type suitable for a Thunderhead would be the "dog-ear" P90 as found on guitars such as early Gibson ES330's and Epiphone Casino's. The problem with these is that pickup hieght adjustment is limited, so you may need to adjust the neck-pitch to get the pickups at the correct distance from the strings. |

Location: Canada | Mounting them is not a problem as long as the pickup will fit in the existing hole in the body i'm fine. Thanks for the input |

Location: Scotland | A P90 is approximately 44.5mm X 88.8mm, while the T-head DeArmond is approximately 32mm X 78mm, so I guess a P90 wont fit without modifying the guitar. |
