Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | At 8:45 EDT this morning, there was someone on Fox News playing a "flag" Ovation Custom Legend and telling about Ovation's donation of the guitars(as detailed on their website) to the soldiers in Iraq. Didn't catch the gentleman's name nor the purpose of the segment, got in on the last 60 seconds of it while channel-surfing.
I caught the guitar was an Ovation immediately("that" headstock). 15-20 seconds of the time I saw was a very nice close-up of the guitar, with "Ovation" clearly visible on the headstock, and the "eyebrow" at the end of the fingerboard of the Custom Legend very apparent.
Give the marketing department an "atta-boy" for that one.

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | I also saw this artist playing the ovation flag guitar.It was a custom legend flag model.He later talked about the guitar specifically and mentioned Ovation twice.He spoke about how theOvation guitar company sent guitars to the troops in Iraq.He also played a song and sang during the segment.At the end of the segment he played the guitars as they went to a commercial. |
