Location: St. Petersburg, FL USA | I was putting my '83 1612 back in the closet yesterday when I dropped it. It was in the HSC. It bounced up a little, and landed round side up. I gave it the quick look over & all seemed fine. But this morning I notice the pickup wire is flopping around. Is there a clip that secures this, or did I dislodge some glue or something? |

Good luck! |

Location: St. Petersburg, FL USA | Thanks, Chris. I found the clip underneath the top & put the loose wire back in place. She's all set. |

Location: Central Oregon | I am glad to hear the 1612 is OK. I would have been surprised if it had been anything serious. Mine seems to be built like a tank. Great old guitars.
