I had a conference in Philly for a couple of days and went out to Sam Ash's to see if they had the LX you guys are all talking about. They had a elite and a ballader. Both very nice sounding guitars, very even sound. They have a winning platform, you are right. I think what will be interesting to see is what they will do with it at the higher end with the collectors series and more custom pieces. I played the 30th aniversary as well, bear claw and all. That was simply beautiful, and shows the old is good as well. Still only two LX's out and about 20 Taylors and 20 Martins. But they did have the elite LX with a cardboard display about its features right in front as you walked into the acoustic room.

Wow, you are right I was at the store in King of Prussia. I also visited Valley Forge and it was just as I thought. George Washington played an Ovation during his down time.
