Like I said before....ya snooze, ya loose. It was a GREAT deal. I w.a.i.t.e.d & w.a.i.t.e.d for the LX to come out, now I'm w..a..i..t..i..n..g for a deep bowl. I know just the one I want. I have a history of keeping my guitars, so I don't want to settle.

Mine has a very, very small ding on the top, but for the price, i can't complain. I'm suprised it lasted as long as it did, since it was mentioned in the Buy/Sell section of this forum. By the way, does anyone know if there is a way to find out what part of the guitar was refurbished? Would the factory have a record of that?

When I first joined the OFC, all I did was bitch and bitch about the lack of deep bowl Ovations. At the time my favorite guitar was a deep bowl Adamas 1. The Legend LX has put all that behind me. It has all the tone of any deep bowl Ovation I have played. If the deep bowl LX models sound better than my Legend LX, they will truly be something.

I want a Elite LX, dark Cherryburst, cutaway to contrast my Balladeer. I am looking for my E-bay project to fund at least half the purchase. I should be there in a few weeks. I am thinking (at this instant) that I don't want to wait another 6 months for a deep bowl. Heck, by that time there will probably be some other tempting feature comming up. Zchord got a fantasic deal. When I did't push the "buy" button I questioned my own sanity. Thanks for your opinions & suggestions. Brad
