Location: Fayetteville, NC | I think I remember someone saying that they made a special run of those guitars for Sam Ash. Wasn't aware of the Mars One, But My guess is if they did it for one Big Box Store they probably did it for another..Someone Refresh My Memory on this. |

That would be another scenerio I hadn't thought about. Is the asking price High considering it's 4 Years Old? Also Is this another Panelmaster Guitar or did they do it Solid? I'm finding that I don't remember much about it. |

Location: Minden, Nebraska | First, I don't think a guitar being made for Mars, Sam Ash, or Joash makes any difference in collectability. It is simply the rarity of the guitar.
This one IS quite rare, and the asking price might be fine for a collector who wants to add an unusual piece. However, it is very questionable if that guitar will appreciate in value, the Ovation market being what it is.
For many of us on this board, the primary interest is in guitars to play. Considering that I can probably pick up 2 really nice Custom Legends, etc., for that price, it isn't a good deal. |

| The reserve price is probably close to $1200, it doesn't mention the electronics, and I am assuming it is at least a mid-depth bowl?...
