Al,
Thank you for grabbing the ball and trying to run through the Rugby Players Annual Reunion and make it to he buffet table to get us all a snack.

Any "special" that doesn't take advantage of the ANS neck and the lighter bowl will fail to capitalize on what good things are available. Taking the fretboard off the top of the soundboard is a great forward step! Perhaps a little more patience on the deep bowl is warranted on our part.

You said the new stuff cannot be used on an Adamis I. The Q597 is a carbon top LX is it not?

I'm thinking a carbon or AAA Spruce topped light bowl (what's the bowl acronym?) Elite with ANS neck would be an awesome sound generator as well as a pallet for stunning looks.

OP Pro
12th fret OFC
Wider neck for us maturing Ovationists
12 string option
Alpep and MKB "If you think it's too loud, you're too old" OFC Sticker for the Ovation Fan Club Hard Shell Case (OFCHSC)

Duck!

Hehe ... I have that bumper sticker on my sports car with the 800 watt sound system. :D Always wanted one that said "If it's too loud it's because I'm old and spent too much time at Who concerts".

I think the trademarked term for the new bowl is GS.

that is a good point. To be honest I am not in love with that particular guitar. but you are right the LX can be done on the adamas. that then limits bowl sizes to mid but I guess we have to start some place.

I would hope that the guitar I spec would have a better tone.

I want a bumper sticker that says -

"If I can hear your goddam car stereo from two blocks away inside my house with the windows shut you're an inconsiderate fucking asshole."

Nils,
That sounds Like One I could Post On The WZFX-FM control Room Door. ( They have an Urban-Hip-Hop Format)There are 5 Stations in this Building on The Same Floor. we all get really frustrated when you are trying to cut commercials and you can hear them 4 and 5 Doors down the hall, and That's with their door shut! I keep wondering if there's any way I could get away with Shorting out their Control Room Speakers- So they would have to keep the Headphones on. I'll bet that the whole floor would be so quiet -you'd hear a pin drop!

If somebody wants to turn their heads to mush by listening to music at decibels that could boil water like a microwave it's ok with me, but I wish they'd do it with headphones. That BOOM BOOM BOOM hiphop shit (or anything else for that matter) coming from the back of some assholes car or pickup bed is one of my pet peeves. I took a 16 ounce framing hammer with me across the highway once to turn down a little puke's stereo if he refused to do it himself. The little bastard had been talking on a pay phone in front of the little store for 30 minutes with both doors open on his car & that shit blasting so loud I couldn't hear my TV inside my house a block away.

The good news is that all that vibration knocks the "LX" insignias off the trunk. I've found three on the curb so far!

In about 15 years they'll be filing for Workman's comp cause their Employer didn't look out for their hearing!

There has to be a way to remotely juice up their systems till they spark and sputter.
