This looks like something new. I suppose it's similar to the ME 12 String, with a smooth top. It gives the top some depth and looks sharp. I've never seen a smooth top SMT six string, is this something new? A short production run? A test? I checked the website and they don't mention it. Or am I mixed up? That happens sometimes.

I think the CVT is also smooth, but it has the crossweave fibre as opposed to straight fibre.
