Location: Zion, Illinois | Just when I thought I've heard about every Ovation model, here's one I haven't heard about. The ad on EBay says it is an Ovation Troubadour Guitar, serial # 002912. That low of serial number means its old. Here is the link...
Ovation Troubadour Guitar
Might be a nice guitar to add to someone's collection. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | A guitar with a serial number that low would have shiny bowl, rosewood bridge, inlaid rosette and rectangular paper label. I've seen guitars with much, much higher serials that have the features just mentioned. Something about this one isn't quite right. Could it be an early Celebrity model classical named "troubadour" with a low Celeb serial number? |

Location: Tennessee | I think this one may be an 1113 from about 1972. I think the shiny bowls were done by then. Features seem about right for that time frame. Probably mixed up the word Balladeer with Troubadour. His eBay handle should be Mr. Thesaurus. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | This a 1123 which was the shallow bowl of the 1113. Spruce top rather than the cedar, (or was that spanish pine?) and the oval metal lable. Nice guitar. There also was an 1122 and it was a more plain jane version, which this also could be. Somebody want to axe him? |
