Knowing how sturdy and resilient Ovation's are, I don't think i'd worry about moving it to a tropical clime, but (since it's "never been played") I'm sure the owner is pretty much concerned with "collectibility". Temp; Are you familiar with this auction house? I was wondering if it might be possible to contact them and possibly find out if one of Cat's SlotHeads went up on the block as well at that time. If memory serves, he HAD two (#28 & #56), but one was stolen??

Oddly enough, the thing that I found most cool was the original mechanical "chest-burster" from (one of my fave flicks) "Alien". THAT"D be something cool to have! Mount it inside your guitar and have it "burst" through your strings at the end of a gig!! . . . for eight to twelve thousand pounds, I think I'll pass . . . .

I'm having a tough enough time coming up with the funds for a new O. If I had to go the Used Route I'd have to make sure it was something I could afford. and it would have to be in this country.
