A few Months Ago I posted about My Misfortune with My 96 Pontiac Grand-Am. The Engine Blew and it looked like it was either replace the engine or get a new Car. My dad Offered Me his Oldsmobile, But then they decided to keep it.
Long Story Short, He sent me the money to repair the Grand-am. The Good News Is it's back on teh road and running Good as New. I got a great price and it even looked like I was going to have enough left over to Pay for an Elite LX Purchase from AL. Turns out, the rest of the money had to go towards the Insurance deductable for Surgury for my 2 boys. Nothing Serious, 1 Had Tonsils removed and the other had tubes in his ears. well between Insurance Deductable and Medicines for the two. It ate up my New O Fund Pretty Quick.
Oh Well, Guess I'll start over saving again!
(Sorry AL)
With everyone on the mend and all the vehicles in top-running shape, we leave on vacation Tomorrow.
I'll be out of the loop for a week...but The Ovation 12 String will be making the trip with me!
So early in the Morning-It's Off to TEXAS!!!

Glad to hear the good parts Steve. But who in Hell vacations in Texas???

Let me re-phrase that since it was a self answering question. Are you going to watch the deserts, the floods or the tornadoes?

And I mean that in a nice way

"shiney side up, greezy side down, full speed ahead."

The version that made it to me was "stay between the lines, keep the shiny side up and go as fast as your wallet will let you"!

Thanks Guys! "Who The Hell Vacations In Texas?"
I usually make a trip 2 or three times a year and at least one I drive. I was born there, and though I abide in the land of the tarheels, I am and will forever be a TEXAN!
I never had a Problem with Floods, or Tornado's In East Texas which is where I go. though if everything works out I may meet up with Paul Wag.
We'll see how it goes.
