Location: SoCal | In 1981, Ovation built their first supershallow bowl guitars. These were blue Adamas topped guitars that were built for Glen Campbell. One was a steel string and the other had a country artist neck on it. They are both now owned by club members. Look in the club photos for guitars by Playadamas and Bluebird. |

Location: Australia | I've often wondered why there was never a production nylon string Adamas model.
As there seems to be a few around, what does one sound like ?
Does the graphite top work with nylon strings ? |

Location: SoCal | There have been discussions on this before. Check the archives for a full discussion, but the bottom line is that the nylon strings don't provide enough tension on the top to drive the graphite top. |
