It may have been inspired by the breadwinner, but it's not in the same league. I find it to be somewhat repulsive.

I like the wood tones but nt the shape.

Just came home to find my first Breadwinner waiting at the doorstep! :D

Can't play tonight but it looks good and only minor dings and different p/u's.

What's GAS?

Woody-

You have too many Ovations. Now I'm going to have to get myself in big trouble and go buy a Deacon. Or something.

If it was homemade I'd give the guy an A for effort, but as it's from a luthier, it fails. Too bad, the breadwinner was (is) such a cool guitar.

this is one strange guitar. it reminds me of one of those serving trays you would see as a 7th grade wood shop project. only the mother could like it.

the breadwinner that had the cutout at the top of the regular breadwinner is really sexy. if i find one i can afford i will buy it. i love mine. great neck and sound. i have never played it without someone getting into a conversation over it. now that it has a midi pickup the interest has really gone up. i cant figure why it isn't listed with ovations discontinued models. it is a classic in every sense of the word.

i especially like how it fits in my lap sitting down. ergonometric before anyone even used that word.

but this wierd one----barbecue some steaks with it and burn all of the photos.

anyone check out the breadwinner fan club site? type ovation breadwinner into google and it will get you there.

It will be interesting to see if Klein sues him for copying his guitar. Wouldn't that be ironic!
