Well, I have been a little busy, but that's not really the reason. I have been trying to stay current on all the postings, and that's as far as I've gotten. This community is really amazing. For several days, I have been stopping in once a day to read what's new, and I don't have time to read it all. I usually get on around this time of day, and there have been consistantly over 20 threads to read, and even if maybe half are just continuations from the previous day, there are usually a good number of posts to catch up on each anyway. It looks like that by our 3 year anniversary we will have had 3000 members sign up!!! I used to review the stats, but it seems now a mute point. I am in awe... and just wanted to say something about it.

I have begun to skip threads that don't look interesting. The OFC is a busy place these days. Great job guys! Thanks! /\/\/

While I spend some time here I do tend to look at the titles before reading and a preliminary screen. This is a great site and very informative and interesting. And very $#*&@*@ nice since we don't say all that spoo anymore.

Met a friend of mine there, we each brought a couple of guitars, played every day, and got to play with two really talented Harmonica players. Lots of blues! But, when I got home I was 5 days behind on reading posts, here it is Monday and I am still not caught up! noel

I have the same problem keeping up, but that is the sign of a super site where you hate to miss anything. Anything but certain posters using filthy language like SP@@, that is GROSS when you are you are searching for the answer to "what is the answer", SP@@, if that's the answer, than we are all SPWEEE.

And if you can pronounce the following: Sequim, Puyallup, Spokane, Tulalip, Suquamish, Snoqualmie, Snohomish, Skookum, Skykomish, Queets, Tukwilla and Chimicum chances are you are a Worshingtonian.

Makes me feel like us Gringos may not be all bad as many would like to portray us. We are lucky to be what we are, and I believe we have always been willing to share what we have with those who share our beliefs, and the Mexicans I have known certainly share our beliefs, but were born on the wrong side of a border where their leaders DON'T share our beliefs, but long for imperial control, dictators rather than presidents. Joined: May 2002 Posts: 3005 Location: Las Cruces, NM | Maybe that last post was too strident, the Mexican Presidents don't seem to be dictators as much as unable to do anything about providing opportunities to Mexicans at home. They seem to rely on our economy to take the pressure off them to provide jobs at home, I get irritated at seeing families broken up to survive, whole towns where the fathers and sons reside here so their wives and Mothers can eat and have a roof over their heads. What happened to THEIR revolution that turned out so different than ours?? Bailey

Joined: March 2002 Posts: 873 Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | i think mexican people and american people both vote for the lesser of two evils, and hope who ever is voted in leaves the country only slightly worse than when they took office. the world thought salinas was a great president, but he took literally billions of dollars from the mexican people. many say he still controls mexico from abroad. his crimes were blatent. american politicians (i am not cynical enough to say all) do it by awarding contracts and tax breaks to their cronies who in turn shuffle it back through stock share increases and sub contracts. i by no means want to start a political discussion, but i firmly believe the biggest crooks live north of the border.
