If you're thinking of getting some Behringer equipment this should help.

I actually think I can be objective here, because I own a number of Behringer and non-Behringer equipment. Basically Behringer builds low(er) cost knock-offs of what other higher-end companies have developed. For some appilcations it sucks, for others it is quite acceptable. Basically you get 80% of the performance for 60% of the price. That's a good deal ... unless you need the 20% top end, then you have wasted your money. I use Behringer mixers and love them. I bought Behringer effects units and hate them.

My old drummer used to use a small Behringer mic mixer . . . GREAT bit of kit . . . for the price.
I suppose if you're looking for cost-effective somewhat "disposable" road-worthy stuff, it's a good way t'go . .

Doesn't Behringer make wine? Shardonays and stuff like that?

I seem to remember Paul Templeman being very complimentary of the Shark DSP110 as a good feedback buster for the money. $25 rebate!

I too use Behringer mixers and think they are a great bang for the buck. As well, their EQ's - especially the DEQ2496 - incredible!!!
