Location: Andover, MN | I have an Ovation Baladeer Model Number 1561. I don't see this guitar on the website, but maybe I'm just missing something.
Can somebody give me some general information about this guitar, including how most people rate it and what it may be worth. It's in excellent condition.

As to your guitar, it sounds like a deep bowl or customized version of a Balladeer #1861. My guess is that it was made in the '80's. If you can date it with your serial number, that might help some.
As to your question of value, that is subjective. I think we look to eBay more and more to see what different guitars will bring. But, for the sake of discussion, my guestimate of a USA Balladeer in excellent condition with original case is $375, with a range either way. |
