Location: PA | I got my Christmas camera cranked up and yesterday I added a link to pictures on my last post (Question to CWK2).vintage ovations
The skinny-minnie (s/n 001)was probably made in 1967 and is noticably smaller than the Deluxe Balladeer (s/n 129). |

Location: SoCal | Interesting. Is the 001 a prototype for the shallow bowl? |

Location: 6 String Ranch | This one is the same bowl as the "Buffy St. Marie" model at the factory. Very Cool.
It's not the proto for the shallow, it's just another bowl idea that didn't get accepted. Notice it's smaller as well as shallower. The 1127 was just a regular bowl cut down.
This one is very rare. Nice guitar and in great shape. |

Location: SoCal | I don't remember seeing the B.S.M. model at the last factory tour. What did it sound like?
She is listed as an endorsee in the 1970 catalog. |

Location: PA | The idea may have been to appeal to potential endorsers who were of slighter build. Some folks, me included, have a bit of trouble wrapping around a full size guitar with comfort. |
