I am tempted to buy it and repost it for a higher price. -------------------------------------- Old Liver Jones 1979 Viper(original owner) 1981 Limited(second owner)

Buy Buy Buy, these things are selling cheap, in 10 years or sooner, you will look back and weep. These chances are drifting from us, and these axe are getting scarce, the smart are buying quickly, and the dense sit on their arse. Bailey

I'm trying to assess values on some of my gear, two of the more challenging are my original black Breadwinner, all stock with original torroidal pick ups. And the other is my Deacon 12 string. I'm the original owner of both and know what I paid, but am struggling with the current resale values. Strangely enough the Vintage Guitar Price Guide shows the Breadwinner as being about a third higher in value. I'm not sure if this is because there aren't enough Deacons around to set a level or if I'm missing something on the value of a Deacon.

Assuming mint to excellent condition I would think the following to be fairly accurate based on current sales. Breadwinner: $600 - $800 Deacon: $750 - 1000 Deacon 12: $1400 - $1800 Again...right place, right time, right buyer could swing prices 25 - 30% either way. Stephen

Pretty sure the guy who is the current high bidder is not going to let this one get away because of cost. Feedback shows he has already spent over $10,000 on guitars in January alone....all big tickets! Stephen
