That is not a mando, it has 12 strings, it is a bastardly conceived instrument that will not fit in any decent category. Sort of like Jacque Chirac.

Location: Phoenix AZ | It's a mini-12string. Tuned and played like a guitar. At one time Fender (?) also made one. They sometimes get called "mandos" because of the high pitch. I imagine through a decent amp with the treble turned up nice and high that this one could put the cat in heat. Dave |
