I have to tuck it in around the body or else take it off and store it in the accessory compartment. Aren't good quality leather straps (like the new OFC ones) more bulky?

Like TAFKAR, I always take mine off and put them in my gear bag (I have an old indestructible leather briefcase that I use). It's gotten to where I use a separate gear bag for almost anywhere I go, even if it's over to a friends house to jam acoustically.

The custom OFC softies available through Al roll up and easily fit inside the storage compartment of the case, although I don't personally use the hard cases for transport.

It usually lives in the case at home and I'm lazy about re-fitting the strap every time I play it.Leave it connected to the button on the butt, take it off the button by the neck and lay it over the length of the guitar, folding the strap up and over the headstock. I don't use strap locks on the strap......
