Here's a question for the diehard Ovation Luthier wannabees and anyone at the factory willing to post.

I need a part number, dimensional description or source for the little threaded insert unit that the Breadwinner and Deacon battery cover secures into.

Winner gets a free TRC.

Er, second place gets two TRC's

This link should get you to a page that allows you to download a DZUS catalog. Don't remember if they're 4mm or 5mm.

You need the quarter turn fastener catalog.

You might want to check with Kim at the factory. Seems to me that in one of our conversations, he mentioned that they have the battery cover screws and inserts there! :)

At the moment I've got more truss rod covers then guitars. Although I'm keeping my eye open for 2 Viper III pickguards.

If you have a good template, send it over.

Should be the same shape as the Viper though. Just need to customize the Pup holes and such.
