Location: south east Michigan | I timed a sales call today so that I was near the newly remodeled GC when it opened. I figured I could get some quite time in the acoustic room. I was the first in the room. When I opened that door there was a rush of overwhelming guitar-wood aroma. nice.
A few weeks ago I wrote about the new GC set up did not have any Ovations in the acoustic room. They were all displayed by the acoustic room enterance. Well, they must have had some time to fine tune their display after the move. They have since doubled the size of the Ovation display and have hung a few more in the acoustic room. Nice selection also. They have definatly put Ovation in the place of "attention getter".
The manager came in & noticed my hat. He asked if I was a fan or a sales rep. We talked a bit and he remarked how I probably know more about the product than he does. I told him about the new bowl and suggested that I won't see any at GC. But he said no....now that they are an "upscale" store they will be getting in more specialty items. Well....we'll see. |
