Anyone ever use the L.R. Baggs Ibeam pickup? This is a pickup that mounts in the guitar to the bridge plate. I was asked about it today, and I have heard about it, but I have never played a guitar with it installed.

I have an L.R.Baggs piezo setup on my Warrior electric. Gives a pretty decent acoustic simulation....better than most I have heard.

The I-beam sounds amazing, totaly natural compared to a piezo undersaddle pickup, but in my experience it's feedback threshold at realistic stage volume is so ridiculousy low as to make it impractical and virtually unusable, and I know what I'm doing. Sounds nearly as good as a mike in a studio setting, but nearly as good just ain't good enough.
