Location: Orlando, Fl | The brown van just dropped off my first Ovation 12 string. I can't wait to open up the box that has my 1115 in it... unfortunately it is very frigid outside, I guess I'll have to wait till it warms up to open the case. What a test of patience!!! I hope it made the trip ok.
I figured if there ever was a group of people who could relate to this, it was the OFC!!! You can bet, once I get her open (yes, it is a she), I'll take the advice given when the search function was down, I'll be playing my Ovation!!! |

Location: Orlando, Fl | Wow...she sounds fantastic... ringing the rafters as MWoody says. She definately deserves a nice new set of strings...maybe those Elixir nanoweb strings....I like those on my 6's.
She is in great shape for a 25 year old guitar...sure, she has some minor dents and finish cracks, but you have to search for them and will probably miss them at first glance. I love the couple decades plus character she has!!!
Alright, enough chit chat, lets get to playing!!! |

Congratulations on your first 12 string. Be careful of GAS-12. I now have 3, (2- Ovations and 1- Martin). MWoody is right, the D'Addarios will give your axe a killer sound.
Have a Great Day. |

Location: Orlando, Fl | What the heck... I plan on taking her in next week to my guy to get the neck adjusted, so I'll give the D'Addarios a try.
As far as the 12 string GAS... *OOPS* :D Oh boy, GAS-12 has a full sound!!! Might take a while 'til that clears from the rafters! |

Location: Central Oregon | I love my old 1115. I'm sure you'll be happy with yours. I tinkered with the setup a little & once I got it right mine has been a joy. Wonderful neck. I use Elixir Nanowebs on it, primarily because I don't have to change 'em as often. |

Location: Peoria, Illinois | Congrats on the 1115. I, like you, am in 12-sting heaven. Proud new owner of a 6756 LX Legend. It came with D'addario's and I am trying to decide on a fresh set of those, or a set of Elixirs I have on hand. Not sure which set to try first.
I have made my small adjustments and it plays really nice. I hope you enjoy your new addition.
