Sidenote: On the slotheads, the model numbers end in both 7 and 9. I'm guessing that one would designate a wide neck and one a narrow neck. Anybody know which is which? |

Welcome, woah baby, pull a rabbit out of a hat. #45-92 means you have a big smile on your face. How long have you had this slothead ? How does it play? Hot lanta seems to hold a few gems. :)
Post more pics if you have a chance, welcome again, mike |

You at least have some nice pics, and a sense of humor! |

I was just wanting to learn to strum some chords while I was living in N.J. back in the late '80's early '90's. The 1st guitar I bought was a Celebrity 6 string. After about 2 weeks of practicing, I felt I was ready to move up (don't ALL beginners).
Next I bought an '82 (i think) Custom Legend and boy did I sound good!!! My wife (also learning to play), declared the CL was hers, so off I go looking thru a music store in Red Bank. They had it hung up with all the other used guitars and the looks of it just reached out and grabbed me.
The Adamas had been WELL played and I think the previous owner only played open chords (since the strings had cut thru the 1st four frets, but it didn't stop me. The first chance I got I sent it back to Kaman and had it re-fretted with jumbo frets (a suggestion of a hard rock musician friend at the time). It plays beautifully when in the hands of someone who knows how to play (unfortunetly not me).
Just this morning I was searching to find a value for it since it has been sitting in its case in the corner for Way Too Long, and came across a link to this site. Glad I found y'all. |

As a Businessman - You have a market, both Foriegn and Domestic.
As a Member of the OFC it is customary to offer a first chance option to your fellow Members. Many of the OFC brethren can be vouched for and dealings here may be considered strong handshakes!
I am not even sure why I'm posting as you are probably busy answering your many emails!
Bussiness is one thing but here you have the opportunity to make some life long friendships. I hope all goes well and welcome! |

Welcome to the club. You have 2 of the most beautiful and I'm sure best sounding guitars I've
seen since the last time I surfed through the members gallery. I'm sure if you offered either one your emails would increase like a Washington politition's salery. |
