Just wondering if it was significant or just a coincedence? |

Location: Phoenix AZ | EVERY month is uke month? Well, actually I guess I have bought 12 of the little buggers. I've played some damn nice guitars in my day but somehow nothing compares to the smile that a uke brings to my face. Dave |

On top of spaaaaghetttttttttttiiiiiiiiiii, all covered with cheese. I lose my poor meatball when somebody sneezed...
Covered all over from head to toe, covered all over in...sweet violets, sweeter than all the roses...
Saturday, I was in the process of publicly gloati...er, showing everyone the palm tree uke. As soon as I hit the first F on the Spaghetti Song, everyone in the room turned and looked. Better yet, everyone under the age of 12 got dinner plate eyes and, as soon as I got to the G7, the kiddies were all sportin' big grins. Ukes kick a$$. |

Location: East Tennessee | Hi,
How are Uke's tuned? When I was a lot younger I used to have a baritone uke. I bought it after seeing Pat Boone wow the girls with one in a movie, thought I could do the same. No such luck so I went back to playing stuff from the Ventures on my guitar. I tuned it like a tenor guitar. Maybe that was my problem, but some how don't think so. |

They're tuned in C, but the 5 is on the bass side. GCEA (5-1-3-6).
HTH! |

Where can someone get one of those calenders?
Does it have any "O's" in it? I sure would like to know when it is Ovation month. |

All over the world you can hear the sounds of lovers in love. You know what I mean!
I'm playing songs I never imagined I would. |

Got mine in the mail...sent to me.
I don't ever remember buying anything from Elderly but I get their catalogs in the mail. Maybe just go to their website and get on the mailing list. |

June is Bluegrass :p
July is National (2001 model has palm trees on the back) :)
November is Banjos ;)
Some of the other months have lesser known items (PRS, Larrivee, Taylor, etc). :D |

Thanks for the tip, I'm kind'a tired of calenders that show pictures of places I can't afford to go to.
Although hanging some Ovations on the wall can be considered art. :D |
