question two of my quick fire round threads.

imagine this. money is no object, your local luthier has magical powers and can get hold of ANY
wood you dream of to make your next guitar out of.

so what do you choose for the fret neck material then????

personally i'd love to have a guitar neck made of Kewazingo

found it on the kisekae guitar website where u build virtual guitars.

its a beautiful bit of wood!

An six string, resin bowl back, with a glossy, ruby red carbon fiber top, with an ebony board, carved bridge and headstock.

a fret neck is an over tired barman who just finished a ten hour shift and walked the dog and can't notice these things!!!

Only from playing the hell out of it. Bend those notes enough and you will eventually get a nice groove going!

The most interesting was the Elite fretless 12-string. How in the heck can you play it?

madacassar ebony (not sure of spelling)from Africa. sometimes called striped ebony. ebony has one of the lowest damping properties for music woods. another way to say that is ebony transmits vibrations well.
search ofc for previous thread about wood and tones, I forget who, but someone linked a great article explaining the different properties behind the wood and why they are used. Whoever that was that provided the link, thanks again, I have read article multiple times. hope it helps, mike

I'd like to have the $171,721.05 to start the bidding on this Les Paul. And it's in "original condition"...whatever that means.
