She was selling musical instruments she did not own. Apparently, a common scam.

Brad

You are missing the point - you should be selling it on ebay now. Just because you don't actually have it........

"Selling musical instruments she doesn't own"? According to a sax player I know this is nothing. He never stops whining about the woman who lives in a house that she don't own, drives a car that she don't own andstill takes most of his money that she don't own.
That girl was obviously just practising for divorce.

"If you're not going to send the item back, it's going to be high profit," said Nassau County prosecutor Stephen Treglia.
Another astute observation by law enforcement...

I kept waiting for the article to tell us she was at college taking law, or business... This semester - "Ethical Practices in Business".

I guess case in point is She got Nailed for her wrong doing. Should be a clear message to anyone commiting fraud that you might get away with it for now, you might not get nailed today tomorrow or even this year, But if you keep it up you will get caught..and The feds will prosecute.
