Hi All,

I am looking for a 16/4 Snake Cable and some passive direct boxes for our Praise Band.
We have been doubling the cables direct to the mixer, but it puts our sound tech on the periphery 10 feet from the left Eon Speaker and 50 or so feet from the right.

We really need to get him in the middle and further back so we are going to invest in these items. Does anyone have any experience with different brands?

Thanks

as far as multicore goes the brand is pretty much irrelevent, though with anything like this buy the best you can afford, as they will generally have better connectors. Personally I'd go for a used multicore by Whirlwind or similar rather than a cheaper new import. DI boxes are pretty basic and even the cheapest will work OK, though I'd spend a little more & go for active versions.

Don't feel like England is ganging up on you but Mr. T. is sooooooooooooooo right about the active boxes and cheap cables WILL jump up and bite you on the rear end one day and ALWAYS when the devil himself couldn't pick a worse moment.
If I sound bitter, it's cos I am.
