The Earth's axis has just tilted more toward Georgia as all heads turn!

I was wonderin if you two were gonna have a small reunion.

Or is this a new home?

This is what the OFC guitar should look like.

One question. Is that some sort of resin pick guard?

The tilt on this side of the world is already screwing up the weather!

I had a great time comparing the two slothead guitars today. We compared sound and many features of both guitars. Here are some of my thoughts.Although both were -7 blue finish, they looked very different. #45 was somewhat greener outer to blue middle(check out photos).Mine #57 is more blue throughout the entire guitar with less burst and no green tint to it.Also Colins pickguard is yellowed more than mine.Mine is clear see thru and almost invisible(again check pics). The sound of these guitars were a bit different.Mine had much more bottom and warmer sounding and had a bit more mid punch to it.Colins had enough bass but not as boomy. It was however much brighter with less mids.It reminded me more of #31 i used to own.Mine is a wide neck 1689 while Colins is a standard neck 1687..I am not intersted in buying the guitar but did want to see ,feel and hear it.I have now had the chance to play adamas numbers 7,12,31,33,45,57,60..
If anyone interested in buying #45 from Colin needs any info or details of adamas #45 i may be able to answer some questions for you since i have had the great fortune of playing it and inspecting it.Overall it is a great guitar!

Sam, you never got to play #47?

Has Colin officially decided to sell?

Last year I played #47 at the OFC gathering. I hate to say it, but it didn't sound that good. The strings felt dead. Hope this June they'll put on fresh strings.

Now that would make a great picture for the board

"...and here's Moody, changing strings on #47, while others are telling him that they don't like his choice of strings..."
