I really enjoyed the book. So much in fact, my personal copy arrived today from Amazon. Great timing for a change. (Thanks again for the link BruDev.) I like that one click buying, they ain't foolin', one click & WHAM, it's at your door. Cool.
The Book had a good time while it was here. It went Bull Trout fishing last Sunday & is so inscribed, following Bailey's lead. (No keepers.)
It will be going to Paul Moody tomorrow, along with his trinket from Central Oregon.
Thanks for the Adamas package & pick Bailey!

Something to be thinking about is what the final destination of this book will be. I have no suggestions and this is a ways in the future. Just forward thinking.

I mentioned before that it maybe should wind up with you CWK2. If not, maybe it should go to the Mothership.
BTW....this is post # 1000 for me.

T28 - I don't do my finances, that's why I have a wife and a CPA. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. OK, well, I was a little preoccupied last evening with a good bottle of wi...er, good company. Yeah. That's it. That's the ticket.

Slipkid,
Nice thoughts but lets have the book go where it can do some good. My house it sits on a shelf, the muddaship probably the same. Maybe figure out how to get it into the Rock Hall of Fame with a big PERMANENT Ovation display?

There's lots of room left Bailey. I added "Went Bull trout fishing in Lake Billy Chinook 3-6-05" to the list you started & added some other comments.
I can't wait to hear what Moody thinks of the trinket I sent him.

The second Book to pass my hands is headed out to Chatman with a little something to remember the occasion. Made a "trace list" with it.

Peace

And I spend my evenings sitting at the curb wistfully watching the delivery trucks drive up and down my street. I've done this every night since Mike tantalized me with promises of books and surprises to arrive soon. Just a forlorn guy and his guitar braving the elements...you know the saying...neither rain nor hail nor dark of night...

Nice thing about an Adamas - this could maybe go into some marketing literature - if you hold it right, it makes a swell umbrella. Just make sure you orient it properly cause if you don't, an Adamas filled with water can make even a banjo seem light by comparison.

And there I thought your middle name was an affectation.

Seriously though, I've got three pups to do the leg work, I just lure the delivery guys onto the property. Technique used to work pertty good. The newest UPS driver, he's a young one. And fast too. Thelma, my chow mix, she's getting a work out.

I'm setting out here in the night all alone
My Collie is with me her mind on a bone
The moon is shining in the sky all alone
And a west wind is blowing from places unknown

Darkness is settling all over me
my dog is whining to just be set free
A train is chugging off to my left
A black Kaman Helo is swooping down at me
And CWK II leans out and shouts resophonics are future
An Aowl hoots in a tree and says rock is the answer
And Miles away an solid body screams while a Moodi PI proves that old people aren't dancers

I head for the house with nothing but fear
I leap through the door and open a beer
I turn off my computer and with eyes that are blear
Pick up my guitar and play music and hope that this is a dive into reality that is really unreal

I'd love to add my TGW to the list... I thought the intent was to have those that haven't read...

Add me to the list.
