I signed up for the newsletter from the announcement you posted and I even printed out the page you listed above, but I couldn't find, stuff like nut width and scale length and such. Maybe I'll just have to wait until it shows up at my door. |

Sorry the link is a Martin, but here is what I would consider to be a nice comprehensive spec list.

Did you happen to find out if the OP Pro would have the XLR jack or will it be 1/4" only?
It appears they can come either way. |

not sure why it isn't on the LX. |

Location: SoCal | okay, Al's previous postings and his website state that it is a textured top.
yet,
The Adamas 12 Fret features a Unidirectional Carbon Graphite top with deep non-cutaway body and a 5-piece Maple/Mahogany neck with slotted peg head. Its epaulets feature 5-piece exotic hardwoods and the Mother of Pearl inlays are of the original Adamas I design. Ovation’s OP Pro preamp and Original Patented Pickup deliver a plugged-in sound that accurately reflects this guitars rich tone. Available in Adamas Black finish and limited in production. Retail: $2499.00
From what I understand (and the Adamas website), Unidirectional Carbon Graphite top is an SMT. So, what is it????????????? |

Location: Phoenix AZ | If you close you eyes and inhale deeply you can almost hear it sing. The new strings hovering above virgin ebony fingerboard. Tuners devoid of fingerprints. The smell of industrial adhesives still wafting through the body. Epaulet edges sharp and laser trimmed. And the beautiful black textured top just waiting at attention to vibrate it's little heart out on command. This is the essence of 12-fret slothead foreplay. Dave |

Location: boulder | Well, I was surprised to get my 2005 collectors two weeks before Ovation and local guitar shop said they would ship it. But I know some of the online dealers have not received there 2005 collectors yet. The last I heard was that O was going to be shipping around April 5th for the U681T (what a great name!). Maybe Al will have some sooner, but I think the Factory has their hands full this year.
slothead foreplay, hmmm. Once when I was at the Rock of Gilbraltar, I went to the casino desk and asked for $10 worth of slots. They explained to me that 'slots' was not what they called the chips there.

Location: Anchorage, Alaska | I just got off the phone with John over at the "Mothership" and he said they are starting to come off the line as we speak. If fact he played one this morning. Of course he said it sounded WAY NICE. The first few that have come off the line went out to get reviews and for a display somewhere I think he said. They should start shipping to the dealers in about 2 weeks from what he has heard. He also said that Al has a bit of an "in" so he might get his before some of the other dealers if Ya know what I mean...

Location: Phoenix AZ | I wonder how many they will actually build. 100? 101? I know the press release said limited to 100 units but what if they didn't get orders for 100. Do they only build what they get orders for? I wonder if they are numbered in sequence like xx/100. That's great that they are starting to come out soon. Sadly, some will probably take longer than others. |

PS - Let the record show that the claim for serial 47 was made at 12:01 AM on December 15th. From Amsterdam, local time. I've got the T-mobile bill to prove it. |

Well, accorrding to the new Adamas Site, (and #21136), the specs that you were given were 1/16" off Of course it's usually easier to have the correct specs available AFTER they start shipping, but I'd go feed the "Birdie" some #10 shot if I were you. |
