There's a guy who started at my company on the same day I did, we went through new employee orientation together. We didn't work in the same organization, but the two groups interacted occasionally. Lots of ups and downs in the tech industry since then, including our little company being bought out by the biggest of the big fish. All along, we'd pass each other in the hall every once in a while and say, as long as we're both still here, all is well. We both work from home now, but we still pass each other in the hall "virtually" now and then and rejoice in knowing we're both still around. Almost twelve years later, we still share that ritual.
Mike, you and I rolled in here right about the same time. Right as the LX models were turning from rumor to reality. A lot has happened in these 5 years, but I'm proud to have owned one of your masterpieces and happy to name you as a friend. Congrats, and see you in the hall!
Oh, and... GET A LIFE!! You've got over seven times my post count! At my rate, I'll hit 10000 in 2039. You'll be at about 72000 by then. |

"Show me a man's friends and I'll show you the man"???? Jeez, I'm doomed. With friends like you, Toby, Bobbo, Temp, Clifford, Al, SeaDoubleYewKayToo, and others, I'm not certain that it says anything good about me...... |

Well Done!
