Location: NW NJ | I use Dunlop strap locks on all my O's to prevent disaster. Just one question - they have started to get a little hard to put in and pull out, so they obviously need some lubrication. What do you guys and gals use? |

Cruster, the moment has passed. Any after the fact comments will be ignored. |

If you are really going through withdrawal for a sarcastic response, picture if you will:
In your best Dr. Ruth voice say something like "You are very, very lucky". "Lubrication is very, very important as you age!"
In either case I would consider anything that is non-staining, neutral PH and readily accessable. |

I should point out that I just installed a set of Straplocs on the TB1000 this weekend and the directions I gave you were direct from their little paper insert.....so my answer was direct from Dunlop. |

| I'm a jazz player - everything is in Eb or Bb to accommodate stupid sax players.
Does the fact that I bit the keyboard and passed on the original cotton buds/holes posts count as a miss?
Jeff - don't you have a folk festival in Canada to attend? (That one was a real big seller by the way :p ) |

Thanks. As usual, I tossed mine as soon as I got the things installed a few years ago. Nothing on the Dunlop website about care and feeding of the Straploc either.
Maybe I shoulda looked on the J&J website ... based on the rest of the posts on this thread! |
