Location: WV | Just a quick note that should the WVU Moutaineers beat Texas Tech tomorrow night and win again on Saturday against the winner of the Washington/Louisville game I will probably be going to St. Louis to shoot the Final Four. If there are any OFC members that would like to buy me a beer while I'm in town drop me a line ;)
This job sure beats working for a living :D |

Good luck. I live in Big 12 country, so TT is a sentimental favorite here. Further, I am an alum of Duke, so am hoping to see Coach K square off with his former coach and mentor in a Duke - Tech game. I do watch a lot of basketball these days....
But in the long run, it's still just a game. |

Location: WV | And a win Saturday gets me a free trip to St. Louis. My offer is still open to any OFC member that wants to meet up and discuss anything over cocktails. Hell I'll even buy the first round. |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | JB, it's the U.S. college basketball tournament. It starts with 64 college teams; the teams are broken into 4 groups and given a ranking of 1 to 16 based on perceived strength. Then a bracket is set up for each group. The 1 team in each group plays the 16, the 2 plays the 15, etc., down to the 8 and the 9. The tournament goes for two weeks until each group has a winner. Then two of each play each other and the winners play for the national college basketball championship.
It's called "March Madness". It's become a rite every year to watch the games, especially the early ones, because invariably some low-ranked teams defeat higher-ranked teams.
After last night, there are eight teams left. Today and tomorrow, there are two games each day, and there will be four teams left then until next weekend(in St. Louis). The championship game is April 4th (a Monday night).

Of course, everyone can talk about it all you want and I won't be offended. |
