Stephen asked if "Bongo Boy" would sign his U681T. We've made all necessary arrangements, just send them both to my address. I'll sign his and get it back to him. |

| You guys are like a ship load of sailors after a 3 month voyage hanging over the rail desperate for a sight of a woman. Get a grip.
Some of us have still got a three month wait. |

Sure I'm anxious for the guitar and being out a pocket full of money with nothing to show for it yet is not fun. But I have no problem waiting a few more months for what I know will be a killer of a guitar.

Fun to do while not playing the guitar you're waiting for...I find Stephen to be particularly amussing, cause he just can't stand it. |

What's that....I can't hear you Jeff. Is it raining outside or is that you crying loudly in your beer :p |

First impression was awesome but I was afraid once the newness factor wore off I would become a little less jaded and more critical.
After playing it for a little over a week, I believe it to be even better than I first thought.....mainly because the range of tones is much wider than I expected. Recorded tones (to my ears anyway) are indistinguishable from the real animal. Rock Strat, Blues strat, chickin pickin tele, rock tele.....all the sounds are there.
If only I could play as good as the riffs I hear in my head! :(
Did you ever get the Event TR8's? |

Are you now...or...have you ever been a member of the Pepiakist party?
far as we know, you could be perpetuating a sinister disinformation campaign aimed to lure us into an aggitiated state of anticipation, so that you might further infiltrate the highest echelons of... Gee Whiz, I can't wait!! |

Gee Whiz, I can't wait!! believe me, I am waiting as impatiently as all of you. i made my decision pretty late so i haven't been waiting as long, though. I am now converting my entire arsenal to Ovation though, while I wait. I have bought a 90's elite, and am shopping for a 1771LX Balladeer. In the end I will have the Slothead, Elite T, 1771LX, 6718 Elite, and a beater or two of other brands (Art and Lutherie, Epiphone). Maybe another Ovation to come. |

Al is just stopping the special requests before they all start coming in.....can't blame him. Guess I will go back to my original thoughts and call Al Tuesday or Wednesday and officially ask him to ship mine out next Monday. |

Opportunity here in that Al has one IN STOCK that has not been sold. If you have been considering, available for instant ship. After this one has been sold, might be a wait until made. |

Incredible instruments. There will not be an unhappy person that owns one of these beauties.
If you play a cowboy chord, the guitar just BOOMS. if you play up on the frets the notes are crisp and clean and have a fantastic tonality.
One left if anyone is interested e me. |

Al thanks for putting up with our ribbing,
Stephen, I'll let you know how it sounds, case you don't want Al to even bother shipping yours Monday. |

Al, thanks for getting them for us.
Stephen, we'll have conference calls and serenade you while you wait.
At this distance, starting out today or tomorrow ground, the shipment will be riding in the truck and not even have an arrival scan at the destination hub until earliest Sunday.
Why don’t you let Al ship yours out tomorrow? |

Alas....got the UPS notification that it has already shipped out. Figured I had until Weds....snooze you looze.
Al, don't sell the last one until mine is safely in hand....that way I can get the last one as my replacement unit. With my history with UPS and weekend shipments I give it a 50/50 of arriving in good condition!
Jeff....you're a turd! I will expect a full review on April 7th. |
