Location: Midland, MI | The family and I have come to the conclusion that things around here are going from bad to worse. It's almost like 'Atlas Shrugged' has come to life, with the looters taking over.
So, we've purchased some property here and are moving out in about a month. Everything is up for sale, as we won't be needing it any more.
Ovation Elite, Hamer Studio, a bunch of Peavey's, a house, Ford Ranger, Dodge mini-gogetter, more bench tools and lawn implements-of-destruction than you can imagine. The whole shooting match is up.
Let me know what you need or are interested in and I'll get you a price. Shipping will be included.
Good luck!
And happy 1 APR! |

| Will you be changing your name to Reggae Boy and would you like to take a Bongo Boy with you?
You might want to take some of those lawn-deforestation tools with you.
I need some socks - are there any on your sell list? |

Don't forget to bring your Uke. In preparation for your arrival, I've retained an engliish butler. Please, feel free to put him to use, as I have been unable to. His name is Baldrick. You might find him useful as a diversion for the gorlllas (and I don't mean monkeys)as you flee to even higher ground. No foolin' |

Where do I sign??!!!!
I'm currently reading "Don't Stop The Carnival" by Herman Wouk (Pullitzer - "Caine Mutiny"). It's about a 49-year-old Broadway PR man who, after suffering a heart attack, sees an ad in the NewYorker for a hotel/night club for sale on a ficticious Caribbean island that's been recently acquired by the US in the late 50's, and buys/runs it. A pretty funny "fish out of water" farce.
A few years ago Wouk and Jimmy Buffett collaborated on a failed musical stage version of the story.
The book is very well written, though . . . |

That looks nice, but you should check out my newly acquired get away. She's mint and looks like a great place for a jam session!

Location: central nj | Anyone interested in a bridge near NYC? Has that nice Gothic Look. Bugs Bunny and James Brodie (?) were the last interested parties. Any serious offer will be considered.
(I cant remember what I learned in college, but cartoons sure have occuppied a niche in my head.)
Happy April 1st everyone. If you see James Brodie, offer him a bungee cord or base jump parachute. |

The Caribbean island is a thought. A couple of years ago, we actually toyed with the idea of doing this...except it was an island off the coast of Belize and it was going for just about $200k. If the youngest one wasn't newly minted... Now the islands off Belize are going for considerably more...shoulda bought it and held it. =(
If you want something that *isn't* a joke, you can see my amp build , which I did put up today, knowing full well it was April 1st, but hey...how appropriate.
Muchos gracias to CharlieB for schooling me on amp stuff...he knows his shiznit. |

Location: Keller, TX | I was in Roatan in 2000. Great diving. Other than that, not worth going, unless you like trees. The whole island is (was) mostly jungle. Few towns. Seemed like there was less technology/electricty than Gilligan had. Not the place for this cityboy. |
