Would you vote for W2 for President in "08"?

Possible tickets would include:

Cliff as VP!

Moody PI as Secretary of the Interior

Hizzoner would get ATF

Sorry, but:
if selected, I will not run,
and if elected, I will not serve.

. . . I need to keep my options open for the position of new Pope.

Did you know there's a white shade in that hat that rolls down in front for night time excursions?

Cliff wants to ride in the car, the popemobile. I'll drive it, (after a few engine mods)

This could be interesting but Cliff, you got to do this one. (you can still wear the hat)

We'll call ourselves the Mauve Party.

David Hamburger has a great tune on one of his cds, about deciding to give up being a blues player and running for pres (one line is "I like to golf, and fish, and ride in helicopters, seems to me I ought to qualify")

What would Templeman do?

Maybe aLeX would be the majority leader?

I get to handle security. There's got to be major money in people who want to bribe me to let them knock Clfford off.

SHOOT! Again, I lose out. Accountants never have cool hats.

'Course we can earn cool bracelets if we work for companies like WorldCom!

I think given the current state of his health, jokes about the pope and his hat are somewhat insensitive at this time. Let's support in spirit and prayer those catholics around the world who face the sad loss of their leader.

Hey, didn't the pope at one point 20-30 years ago play an Ovation guitar. I'm serious. I distinctly remember seeing him on one of his visits (maybe to the US or mexico) meet with a group of school children. The teacher played an Ovation as the children sang for him and then he asked for the guitar and strummed a few chords. Does anyone else rememeber this?

Dave

He was an endorsee in 1962-1965. For a while, in the late 60's he worked in the factory with Glen's mother, developing new product. While there, he had a conversion experience and turned to the priest hood. But I'm pretty certain that I have a 1963 catalog somewhere with him in it.

I would like to apologize for just about everything between 1979 and 1989 myself!

I am being selfish. Just think about the OFC Gathering on the South Lawn. The picks that will be strewn around Air Force One, the Inaugural Collector's Edition, the Security checks! Oh, never mind.
